What is EMC? 🧐
EMC means Electromagnetic Compatibility, it studies the effects of the electromagnetism in terms of immunity and emission through conducted and radiated test and analysis on the equipment under evaluation.
An equipment is electromagnetically compatible when it is unaffected by the electromagnetic noise around it and does not interfere with other equipment.
Fulfilling the EMC requirements with a product is mandatory to be able to sell this product on the market. In this sense, each product shall comply with its applicable product standard of EMC.
