Simulation procedure for harmonics evaluation of PV Power Plants compliance according the Australian (and Brazil) procedure

Harmonic study of a PV power plant requested by the Australian Electrical authorities for grid connected systems. For this country, an special requirement needs to be done to calculate the impedance of the power plant and the impedance of the grid at the grid connection point.

For this service is necessary to recreate model of the PV plant up to the POI. To perform these services and for modeling the grid, several impedance points of the grid shall be received from the Grid Operator. With these points, a gift-wrapping algorithm is used to obtain the convex hull and being able to obtain the most unfavorable point of each harmonic order for the impedance of the PV plant in question.

After obtaining this and performing the harmonics simulation, a report for the grid operator will be issued.
